Hi, I'm Zsolt.

I'm a UK-based Head of IT with a decade of experience and a hands-on mindset. I leverage automation, modern infrastructure, and privacy-conscious design to build systems that improve workflows.

My background spans streamlining IT operations and infrastructure, deploying full-stack solutions, and architecting secure, self-reliant environments for both enterprises and SMBs.

What is ambient_node?

My day-to-day work is IT, and all my hobbies revolve around technology. I've been tinkering with tech since I was a kid, usually pulling things apart to see how they work.

In 2024, I decided it was time to start documenting what I figured out. This site serves as a current log rather than a full career portfolio, focusing on builds and projects from 2024 onwards. Because I love exploring diverse tech topics, I have organised these posts by subject in a knowledge graph style, moving away from the usual linear timeline or standard homelab blog format.
